Thompson’s Sanitary Service is offering FREE COMPOST, Saturday April 21 @ Agate Beach Transfer Station, 8096 NE Avery St. Newport, in celebration of Earth Day while supplies last, limit one pick-up load per person. The compost is from Pacific Region Compost, where TSS hauls Newport’s Mixed Compostables Material to. Hours Saturday April 21 are 9am-4pm.
As of March 1, 2018, our curbside Comingled/Mixed Recycling blue cart will no longer accept plastics #3-7 (number found on the bottom of the container) as well as shredded paper.
