Windy Day Service Tips

• Please BAG YOUR TRASH so if the cart happens to blow over, garbage doesn’t get littered across your neighborhood.
• Place recyclables in a paper bag and fold over (& staple) or cardboard box before placing in cart so contents do not easily blow out.
• Put your cart out at 6:00am the morning of your service day, when wind is in the forecast, to avoid some of the nighttime storms.
• Customers can use a bungee cord to prevent the lid from opening at no charge during storm events. If bungee is used on a regular basis, a charge of $2.75 each service will be applied.
• Customers can also wait and put out their carts the following week when the weather is more conducive. No charge for an extra bag if customers decide to do this.
