We appreciate you taking the time to learn the Do’s and Don’ts
of our curbside recycling.
TSS provides commingled recycling service in addition to your curbside garbage collection. Carts should be placed at the curb (separated from each other by at least 4 feet) at 6:00 am on the day of collection. Carts should be placed at the street with wheels facing away from street.
We accept clean household Cardboard, Newspaper, Magazines, Plastic’s #1-7 (with logo) Tin, and Aluminum. For a more detailed list of what we accept for recycling please follow the link.
Motor Oil can also be picked up curbside. Oil placed in Quarts, and Gallons tightly sealed are appreciated. Place near cart. Two gallon limit.
Commingle recycling has increased by 2.5 times in the Newport area. This is possible by keeping glass, Styrofoam, and plastic bags OUT of the blue bin. We do, however, have large glass recycling containers in several locations around Newport.
We welcome you to use Lincoln County Recycling center for recyclables you would like to haul yourself. Our hours of operation are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Saturday
