This month, lavender envelopes are arriving in all garbage/recycling customer mailboxes asking for donations to this worthy cause. Sept. 13 the Lincoln County Haulers and the Pacific Communities Hospital Foundation kicked off the 'Can Cancer' campaign with the Lincoln Co. Commissioners. This program raises money for local cancer patients struggling to pay their non-medical related bills. |

Trashing Hunger collected 266 lbs of food! Thank you to all who put out non-perishable food items for us to pick up and deliver to food share. We picked up a total of 266 pounds. This is an annual event and next time we hope to get more, so mark your calendars! |
